Anadolubank, one of Türkiye's long-established banks, is working with Monitoring.World to monitor its IT systems and ensure effective log management.
Problem definition
An existing monitoring solution was in use for IT systems, but issues with licensing and flexible operation were encountered. IT teams were looking for a solution with more customization options and powerful graphical displays for monitoring UNIX/Linux systems.
Solution
Monitoring.World's IT monitoring solution was chosen for collecting and monitoring metrics and information specific to UNIX/Linux systems. This provides an acceptable alternative to a high-cost monitoring product. Data is sent from nearly 100 servers and systems. In return, extremely low resource usage is achieved, preventing high disk usage that might occur with other solutions.
Ülker Godiva
Since its founding, Godiva, a world leader in premium chocolate and chocolate products, joined Yıldız Holding, Turkey's leading food company, at the end of 2007. Today, Godiva has more than 450 boutiques and stores in 84 countries.
Problem definition and solution
Due to the rapid expansion of Godiva's store structure and central IT systems, real-time and uninterrupted monitoring of the IT infrastructure via a single platform became a necessity. Following extensive R&D efforts by the IT teams, Monitoring.World's monitoring solutions were chosen. In less than a month, Monitoring.World made Godiva's central IT systems, applications, and all IT infrastructure in its stores "monitorable".
With this project, Godiva IT management has become able to monitor IT systems, store infrastructure (POS cash registers, wireless networks, in-store media systems, UPS, generators, critical store PCs, etc.), and all critical business applications 24/7 using visually appealing dashboards. Thanks to the ability to monitor from mobile devices, IT managers can monitor the health and performance of IT systems in real time, even while traveling.
Science Pharmaceuticals
Problem definition
Bilim İlaç was seeking a fast, low-resource, and user-friendly solution for real-time monitoring of its IT infrastructure, measuring system performance and health, and reporting to its IT teams. The presence of numerous systems from different brands, models, and platforms within the IT infrastructure, along with the product diversity and their distribution across various locations, presented the biggest challenges in implementing an efficient and integrated monitoring solution.
Solution
Monitoring.World enabled the monitoring of nearly 200 systems and devices at Bilim İlaç in less than a week. Proxy systems were established to monitor systems in different locations, thus controlling and managing data transmission from remote points. A wide variety of systems, including ERP applications, virtualization platforms, physical and virtual servers, numerous applications from Microsoft and other manufacturers, network devices, and access points (APs), began to be monitored from this platform.
One of the most important aspects of the project, the creation of "Business Dashboards" for managers, has also been completed, enabling systems to be monitored via large LCD screens.
Bilim İlaç IT teams can now monitor IT systems from mobile devices and tablets following project completion, allowing them to be informed of events and problems as quickly as possible.
