At Monitoring.World, in all our projects, we see ourselves as part of our client's IT team.

All of our colleagues have experience managing large system groups in finance or telecommunications companies and take great pleasure in sharing their expertise with our clients regarding the importance of IT Monitoring/Log Management.

One of the best aspects of IT monitoring or log management projects is their ability to uncover issues or ongoing problems that aren't immediately apparent. In numerous projects, even during the Proof-of-Concept (POC) phase, we've been able to point out previously unnoticed problems to our clients, enabling them to take preventative measures.

We believe that knowledge grows when shared.

Therefore, when we talk about a Windows Event ID that we've logged, the conversation often leads us in different directions. Sometimes we discuss the problems that this ID might cause, and other times we notice that the SQL transaction logs are constantly growing and ask, "Do you regularly back up your SQL logs?" just in case.

We also readily assist those who ask, "How do I perform an I/O stress test on my server?", and when the opportunity arises, we try to help by jotting down our knowledge on load balancing and high availability on a piece of paper. Although it's not our main line of business, we enjoy working late into the night with friends who want us on their Disaster Recovery projects, and then continue with IT Monitoring consulting in the mornings.

We're not saying "we'll do any job," but we understand that everyone might need a guiding light when navigating the challenging waters of the IT world.
